Louise Renee (DeJardine) ELLISON

Born March 23, 1945, Tacoma, WA, Died November 23, 2010,
Auburn, WA Lou passed away quietly at home the morning of November
23, 2010 as she had lived her life, without fanfare and with her husband,
Bob. She was the love of his life. It was a beautiful, sunny day with 4" of
new snow. She had been battling metastatic brain and bone cancer that
was discovered at the end of May, 2010. Her doctors felt that the cancer
had metastasized from triple-negative breast cancer that was dis-
covered in May, 2008 and treated. Lou retired from NuMark Office
Interiors in March, 2009 after 17 years of service and many sales
awards. Most of her clients had become her friends. She was active in
her church, All Saints' Lutheran Church in Auburn, WA as a member of
WELCA and the Altar Guild, and participated on the Worship and Music
Committee. She was a past member of the church council. She enjoyed
cooking and baking, crafting wreaths, making painted wood cutouts and
candle sticks, and most recently, making greeting cards. She also
enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her husband, Bob, and delighted
in her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
father, Arnold DeJardine and mother, Grace Wigness. She is survived by
her husband, Robert of Auburn, WA, her sons Craig (Cheryl) of Des
Moines, WA and Blake (Erin) of Tumwater, WA, her stepsons Jason
(Kathy) of Graham, WA and David (Samantha) of Pasco, WA, ten
grandchildren, her brother, Richard (Carol) DeJardine of Spanaway, WA,
her sisters Darlene Read of San Jose, CA and Janice (Carbery) O'Shea
of Redmond, WA and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she
loved dearly. Her love, her kindness, grace and radiant smile will be
sorely missed. Heaven has gained what we on earth have lost.
